General Admission - Heinz History Center
For the run of the Vietnam War: 1945-1975 exhibit, military retirees and veterans receive a special reduced admission rate of $9.00. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, active duty military are admitted to the History Center free of charge. This free admission offer applies to the active duty military person and up to four family members (five admissions total). Please bring military ID! After Labor Day and through the end of the exhibit (September 22, 2019), active duty military will also receive the reduced $9.00 rate.
General Admission grants the ticket-holder access to six floors of long-term and changing exhibits presenting the most compelling stories from American history with a Western Pennsylvania connection. Tickets are not designated for a specific date or time, but may be used at the buyer's convenience for one-time admission to the museum.
You will receive a confirmation email following your purchase that will contain a unique barcode and ticket. Simply bring a print out of the ticket with you (or have the email readily available on a smartphone), and present it at the Admissions Desk.
General Admission tickets cannot be used for admission to public programs, education programs, or other public events unless the program or event is advertised as being free with general admission.
